IPL Photofacials, Dermapen Microneedling, Resurfacing. Say goodbye to the effects of sun damage, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and more.

With the innovative Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) photofacial procedure, gentle skin rejuvenation is now easier than ever. IPL photo rejuvenation transforms red, blotchy, sun-damaged, over-pigmented skin into a radiant complexion with no downtime. IPL photofacials can also improve the appearance of large pores, freckles, or wrinkles.

This 30-minute procedure uses intense pulses of light to penetrate deep into the skin. This causes blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness, pigmentation, and age lines while encouraging the production of collagen, a natural protein that fills in wrinkles, making the skin smooth and supple. The procedure involves only minimal discomfort, and any redness or swelling that sometimes occur from treatment disappear shortly afterwards. Most benefits of a photofacial occur gradually in the weeks following treatment. And for even greater cosmetic enhancement, patients may also opt for a PhotoFacial and radio frequency (RF) technology (skin tightening) to achieve excellent anti-aging results.

The Dermapen is an automated micro needling therapy system that vertically pierces the skin to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal damage, while enhancing skin rejuvenation results. People with blotchy, sun-damaged, or discolored skin, or whose skin is affected by large pores, freckles, or wrinkles can benefit from this treatment. This procedure smooths the top surface of your skin filling in wrinkles with new collagen as well as softening scarring, stretchmarks, pigmentation, pore size, etc. The Dermapen’s automatic vibrating function increases the effectiveness of treatment by increasing absorption of products, while reducing pain and discomfort. Varying depths of the device are used depending on the extent of skin damage. Dermapen, although non-ablative, is just as effective as treatments such as Fractional Laser Therapy, IPL, and medical-grade chemical peels and can also be used in conjunction with these treatments. DermaPen Micro Needling can be used anywhere on the body.

Benefits of Dermapen Microneedling:

  • Tightens, lifts, and rejuvenates skin
  • Improves acne scars and wound-healing scars including surgical and burn scars
  • Improves deep wrinkles and fine lines
  • Treats and improves alopecia

Fractionated or Fractional needling treatments utilize microneedling with radio frequency (RF) to tighten and resurface the layers of your skin. This is an effective treatment for large pores, uneven texture, and deeper lines/wrinkles as well as acne scarring and safe for all skin types.

The device that we use is the Venus Versa™. It operates with a revolutionary Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency™ and SmartScan™ technology. This allows us to control the depth of the needling as well as incorporate radio frequency (skin heating process) to reach deeper into the epidermal—repairing deeper than the skin’s surface itself. This treatment delivers superior results with minimal downtime. Typically, we provide 2-4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart depending on your skin’s needs. Sometimes a combination of fractionated needling and other treatments works better and will be discussed at time of consultation.

This powerful laser device provides a matrix of laser pulses that vary in intensity and depth depending on your skin type and desired results for optimal skin resurfacing. Treatments will vary based on the extent of skin resurfacing that you are seeking on all parts of the body.

What skin conditions does it treat?

  • Fine lines to deep wrinkling
  • Acne scarring
  • Surgical scarring
  • Skin tone and texture
  • Sun damage
  • Pigmentation/age spots

Tri-Bella takes skin treatment to the next level and is recommended by providers highly-proficient with this device. Tri-Bella is a powerful and semi-aggressive treatment that is typically done in 2-series (6 weeks apart) – it is used for treatment of pigmentation (browns and reds), including capillaries, collagen induction via Radio Frequency (RF) for skin tightening, and Fractional for skin resurfacing.

  • First, the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment evens skin tone by lifting brown pigment and diffusing or dissolving red pigments – 30 mins
  • Followed by RF Skin Tightening, where collagen is induced to tighten and lift skin. For facial treatments, we start at the jowls and go up including under the eyes and the forehead. – 30 mins
  • Finally, Fractional Resurfacing also induces collagen but uses needling to resurface texture issues as well as wrinkling and scarring. – 45 mins
