Microglow is a combination of a microdermabrasion and a chemical peel over the top of it.
Microdermabrasion is the process of vacuuming out your pores while resurfacing/smoothing the top layer of your skin. This is a traditional facial and one that we do often and quite love. I call microdermabrasion the smooth operator because of the smoothing that it provides.
Microdermabrasion can also be targeted with lightening agents, hydrating products, acne products etc so that we are accomplishing what your skin is craving.
Chemicals peels are also targeted services for pigment, acne, scarring and of course fine lines and wrinkling. So combining the two services gives us twice the targeting.
The glow aspect of the Microglow comes in with a chemical peel that goes on your beautiful and smoothed skin immediately after your microdermabrasion facial.
A chemical peel on it’s own creates a beautiful glow to your skin as it sloughs off the top layer or two of your skin. Chemical peels are “out with the old skin; up with the new skin. When combining these two services into one, it creates that much more bang as you are getting two services in one.
So, in essence, a MicroGlow is vacuuming out of your pores, resurfacing and smoothing the top layer, targeting trouble areas, removing a couple of dull layers, and bringing forth new skin which creates a bright new surface to your skin.
